Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, celebrity moms Christine Jacob-Sandejas & Suzi Entrata-Abrera, and Spiral’s Master Chefs are cooking something special for Mother’s Day. On May 11-13, they will present their family’s favorite dishes in a culinary celebration for the light of every home.
Christine and French Master Chef Julien Cosse team up to showcase the dishes that their family has come to love throughout the years, such as calamari fritti, beef lasagna, and tiramisu. Whilst, Suzi collaborates with Japanese Chef Masaaki Ishigawa to make curry salmon maki and California maki, along with Moroccan Chicken Tagine with preserved lemons and olives and banana chia pudding.
Spiral Master Chefs will also prepare special cuisines dedicated for their beloved moms, such as beef tongue with pickled sauce from the French stove, yong tau fu (vegetables stuffed with minced seafood served with brown bean sauce) from the Chinese Wok, bengali mustard fish curry from the North Indian Atelier, flower pork belly shabu-shabu and cake sushi from the Japanese Atelier, clam stew with basil from the Thai Atelier, fried fish with chili paste sauce from the Korean Atelier, and the classic menudo from the Filipino Atelier. La Patisserie also features delightful desserts for mommies and their little tots.
This Mother’s Day, Sofitel also pays tribute to hardworking moms who have managed to balance their career and family life.
Aside from their sumptuous culinary offerings, Sofitel has also prepared exciting prizes for mothers and their children when they come in twinning outfits on Mother’s Day. The winner will get prizes from Uniqlo and Elizabeth Harden.
